The 3 Ply medical mask consists of 2 parts, the mask body and the ear band. The 3 Ply mask has 3 Layers, an inner layer, a middle layer and an outer layer. The material used in the inner layer is non-woven fabric that has a strong water absorption rate. The material used for the middle layer of the mask is a layer of melt blown polypropylene. This creates cushioning that provides comfort for your face. It also acts as a bacterial barrier for any misdirected sneezes or coughs that head towards you. The outer layer comprises of spun bound non-woven hydrophobic fabric. The material used for the ear bands are wrapped around your ears for comfort.
